My name is Zoltán Helmrich. I was born in Pécs in 1967. I got my profession as a cutler from my father who left the Bruhács factory as a cutler-grinder. After he worked at the Glove Factory of Pécs and dealt with clipping and repairing scissors, knives and other tools. In 1980 he opened his own shop where I also worked in a few years time.

I am dealing with clipping and making knives, scissors and other cutting tools up to this day. I made plenty of custom-made bowie-knives on orders and these knives made it to several countries all over the world. Having such a special profession employed only by a few makes me proud.
